Designer, Artist, Mother and Collaborator

From my bright studio in an artist collective in Southern California, I create one-of-a-kind designs using drawing, watercolor, dyes, and fabrics, with various techniques that lend themselves to printed, woven and fine art applications. I am skilled in building fluid and seamless repeats, developing color stories and layering motifs or textures to carry any pattern from concept to end use.

My creative career began as a costume designer nurturing my love of all things fabric, and the desire to create stories through texture and color.  Now with over 20 years as a textile and print designer, I collaborate with other creatives in various industries to generate ideas and results in different scales, mediums and applications.

Working with boutique start-ups, established designers or mass-market companies has allowed me to appreicate the necessity of staying nimble. Each new project builds on the creativity necessary to successfully navigate concept-to-user design as it relates to the manufacturing process. Through resourcing, production timelines, budgeting, as well as the relationships with marketing, branding and sales.

Currently I find myself independently exploring new techniques and seeking partnerships who are also excited about this time in manufacturing as we consider new types of substrates, on-site production, and more sustainable practices across any product life cycle.
